TRANSFER STATION
RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Any private vehicle entering the Transfer Station for the purpose of disposing materials must have the required permit affixed to the right back side of the inside rear-view mirror.

   EXCEPTIONS:

• Vehicle dealers that change vehicles, and company owned vehicles may obtain special permit to be carried with driver.
• Temporary permits may be obtained by homeowner for contractors working on the residence.

2. All vehicles will stop for permit check by attendant.

3. Materials will be dumped at designated places throughout the dumping area.

4. No scavenging or picking at site will be allowed at any time.

5. No hazardous waste of any kind is allowed in Transfer Station dumping areas.

6. Any person, company or corporation who violates any provision in the rules and regulations could be prohibited from future use of the Town of New Scotland Transfer Station site and may be subject to suspension or revocation of their Transfer Station Permit.
